We are focusing on the new applications platform and API in development recently.
When we told this to everyone, they were thinking this is something similar to other social networking sites.
But I can tell you guys, there is something difference in our applications platform.
In the general SNS applications platfrom, the applications model were actually use one to one based.
As we know, this is only communicate privately between users, which do not really social enough in the terms of community.
We are also the end-users of those applications, and that's why we find this problem and come out our solutions for website
to become more social.
There are two types of applications on Muecs.
- Personal Apps, just same concept as the existing SNS applications. Allow people to interact with their friends,
use the applications for entertainment, contents aggregate and assistance tools.
- Social Groupware, this will be the new conecpt we trying to apply for applications in social network.
It enable people to add the applications in their Muecs Crews. To Allow more features, in their Crews become more
social in communication.
The API are RESTful interface. Developers allow to call our service by HTTP GET or POST requests to Muecs API web server.
We support XML and JSON format in the return format, so almost any computer language can be made to communicate with our
API over HTTP.
We are working on the API right now, and will be release the first Muecs API Beta in the End of Dec, 2008.
So both Muecs Applications Platform and API are going to announce soon.
